Intersoft Development, Inc. (IDI) was founded by Mike Eberhart (CEO)
and incorporated in 1995 as an Internet Software
Development, Custom Software, Database Solutions, Web Design, and Business / Technology Consulting
IDI provided an organization through which highly-skilled technical and business consultants could be engaged by its corporate clients with confidence.
Thanks to the fact that IDI hired consultants which were very dependable, highly experienced in their respective fields, and quite often with already-established and long-standing business relations with various corporate contacts, IDI was able to run basically on "auto-pilot" for many years. Mike fully recognized the exceptional autonomy of these core long-term employees as they enabled the business to remain a going concern for many years even as Mike was on the periphery after Celiac Disease (extreme gluten-allergy) sidelined him. At that point, Mike decided to keep IDI active until the last of his long-term employees had moved on or retired — an event which occurred in 2013.
From 2014 forward, IDI maintained its web-presence in the event that any additional project(s) suitable to its former consultants were presented for consideration, but the business ramp-down was fully underway, and Mike's plans ultimately included retirement and no longer administering IDI. Instead, Mike now keeps a Technology Blog and a Gluten-Free Blog as his creative outlets.
Ultimately, along with the retirement of the CEO, as of 2018, Intersoft Development, Inc. has completely closed down its operations and has ceased to exist as an Ohio Corporation.
